Bookings

-To secure your wedding date with SAMANTHA KATE a non-refundable £150 retainer fee will be required to secure your booking and will be deducted from your final wedding day balance.

-If you should wish to cancel your booking with SAMANTHA KATE, please read the 'CANCELLATION POLICY' for more info.

-If you have not paid your £150 retainer fee to reserve your wedding date with SAMANTHA KATE, that date becomes available to the next client.

-By paying the £150 retainer fee, you are confirming that you have fully read, understood and give consent to all terms and conditions outlined by SAMANTHA KATE in this document.

-All bridal clients MUST have a wedding trial at least 2 weeks before the wedding date. The trial must include ALL services that the bride wishes to have on the wedding date. SAMANTHA KATE cannot guarantee any trial date availability after the two week deadline and will not be providing wedding day services for weddings without a sufficient trial. The non-refundable retainer fee will be retained.

-A minimum spend of £300 is required in order to book a wedding day with Samantha Kate (this does not include the cost of the trial).

Cancellation Policy:

-Any postponements of bookings will incur a £75 booking fee. If SAMANTHA KATE is unavailable on your new proposed date, any deposits paid for the postponed date will be retained.

-In the unfortunate event that SAMANTHA KATE is unable to perform services on the trial date or wedding date, for any reason, including but not limited to sickness, accident, weather, etc., reasonable accommodations shall be made up to and including a full refund of retainers for services not provided.

-with any cancellation, the deposit paid will be retained.

Travel Charges:

-A fee will be charged of 55p per mile, to and from the location, from LN1 postcode.

-All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by the client. Costs may include, but not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation, toll charges and parking.

Terms and Conditions Liability

-If SAMANTHA KATE recommends another supplier or an assistant for your event, the responsibility of that service is now with both yourself and the recommended supplier.

SAMANTHA KATE cannot be held liable.

-All brushes, tools and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitised between every makeup application.

-Any skin conditions or allergies should be reported by the client to SAMANTHA KATE prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release SAMANTHA KATE, from liability for allergic reactions.

-SAMANTHA KATE will not be held liable for any injuries that should arise while on location.

Wedding Trial:

-Hair and Make-Up trials are carried out at the artist/stylist home studio.

-Trials only take place on weekdays, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they have the availability for a trial date at least two weeks before the wedding. It is advised that this is booked well in advance for availability purposes.

-Trials are payable to your artist on the day prior to your appointment and are non refundable.

Service Location and Requirements:

-A set up table/work area needs to be made available for SAMANTHA KATE.

-Working electrical outlets must also be made available for use by SAMANTHA KATE -Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly.

-A high chair or bar stool is requested but not necessary.

Please let SAMANTHA KATE know if a chair cannot be provided.

-Remember to wear a button down shirt or dressing gown so you don’t mess up your style while getting dressed.
